Parceit (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the website parceit.com and provides AI search visibility audit tools and related services. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide

  • Email address when you submit it to view a full audit report, sign up for the monitoring waitlist, or contact us.
  • Website URL that you enter for an audit. This is the site being analyzed, not your personal data.
  • Contact form submissions including your name, email, company, and message.
  • Billing information when you purchase a paid product. Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full credit card number.
  • Business details when you purchase Google Business Profile setup or implementation services (business name, address, phone, hours, photos, site access credentials).

Information we collect automatically

  • Usage data such as pages visited, audit actions taken, and timestamps. We use Google Analytics 4 for aggregate traffic analysis.
  • Technical data including IP address, browser type, and device information. This is used for security and to improve site performance.
  • Cookies and similar technologies. We use first-party cookies for analytics and functionality. Stripe may set cookies on checkout pages.

Information from our audit engine

When you run an audit on a website URL, our crawlers fetch publicly available data from that site (page content, HTML structure, robots.txt, sitemap, schema markup). We store audit results to generate your report. This data is the technical analysis of the submitted website, not personal data about individuals.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To run AI visibility audits and deliver reports to you
  • To provide purchased services (detailed reports, Google Business Profile setup, implementation work)
  • To respond to your questions and support requests
  • To send you transactional emails (purchase confirmations, follow-up instructions, delivery notifications)
  • To send marketing emails if you opt in (you can unsubscribe at any time)
  • To improve our audit engine, tools, and website
  • To detect and prevent fraud or abuse of our services
  • To comply with legal obligations

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your information. We share data only with these service providers:

  • Stripe processes all payments. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.
  • Google provides our analytics (Google Analytics 4) and business data APIs (Google Places). See Google's Privacy Policy.
  • Zoho handles our email delivery. See Zoho's Privacy Policy.
  • Perplexity and OpenAI APIs are used during admin brand scans to check AI visibility. Only the website URL being scanned is shared, not your personal data.

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and safety.

4. Data Retention

We retain audit results and lead information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Free audit data is retained for 12 months. Paid customer data is retained for the duration of the service relationship plus 2 years. You may request deletion of your data at any time (see Your Rights below).

5. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies for:

  • Analytics (understanding how visitors use the site)
  • Authentication for admin access
  • Stripe checkout functionality

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect some features of the site.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your personal data
  • Opt out of marketing emails at any time
  • Object to or restrict certain processing of your data (applicable under GDPR/CCPA)

7. Security

We use industry-standard practices to protect your data: HTTPS encryption in transit, secure environment variable storage for credentials, and Basic Auth protection on administrative areas. Payment data is handled entirely by Stripe and never touches our servers. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children's Privacy

Parceit is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

9. Third-Party Links

Our site may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. We encourage you to read their privacy policies.

10. International Users

Parceit is operated from the United States. If you access our services from outside the US, your information will be transferred to the US and processed here. By using our services, you consent to this transfer.

11. GDPR and CCPA Notice

If you are in the European Economic Area or California, you have additional rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). Categories of personal data collected: Contact information (name, email), business information, technical usage data, and communications data.

Do Not Sell My Personal Information: Parceit does not sell personal information. Under CCPA, you have the right to opt out of any sale. Since we do not sell data, no opt-out is necessary.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a new “Last updated” date. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through a notice on the site.
